Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique (CNRS): C’Nano Grand Est competence center (CNRS)

Competence Centre in Nanoscience Great Eastern or Great East C'Nano aims to bring together all the laboratories or teams working in the broad field of Nanoscience in the Great Eastern with the first concern the study of nanoscale objects. Based on the success of the operation conducted around the Central Technological Near Nancy / Strasbourg and Besançon, the Ministry of Research and Technology offers the opportunity to establish a structure for coordinating broader effort to promote scientific and technical exchanges between the different actors of research in chemistry, biology and physics and to identify the larger region as potentially able to strengthen its national role in nanotechnology. In Great East C'Nano, the five dominant applicative fields are: Spintronics and nanomagnetism; Nano-optics and plasmonics; Nano-objects and materials nanostructured molecular, macromolecular and supramolecular; Nanoscience and materials for health; Nano Manufacturing.
